2 hours per week in Premiere and Terminale
- Students devise and undertake an independent research project, on a subject of their choice, developed from one of three broad areas “paths of reflection”, on a UK related topic.

Students are assessed when they present their project in a 20 minute oral in the summer Term of their Terminale year.
