There are several other 'Lycées Internationaux' in France. A complete list can be found on the CIEP website: www.ciep.fr. The list below concerns schools offering the British OIB.
The Programme works very closely with those Lycées which offer the British version of the OIB (the International Option of the Baccalauréat, administered by the Cambridge examination board, UCLES). The table below shows which schools are involved.
These schools work together via the group of teachers who teach the two subjects involved, English and History-geography. Annual meetings take place and training is organised regularly. The heads of sections or programmes also meet at least once a year. All British OIB schools are members of an association within which both sections in the schools and parents' associations are represented. This association (ASIBA: 'Association des Sections Internationales Britanniques et Anglophones') represents the interests of those involved in the OIB and helps to ensure that the examination works well. Recently it has, for example, financed the attendance of the Cambridge Inspectors at teacher training.
ASIBA publishes a Newsletter at least once a year, and has its own website. These are accessible from the ASIBA page.
